Children at St Joseph's Catholic Primary School in Billingham enjoyed a fantastic Forest School session, combining creativity, outdoor learning and teamwork.
The activity encouraged pupils to explore the natural environment while developing important skills and working together with their classmates.
Creating Nature-Inspired Bookmarks
During the session, children used a variety of natural materials they discovered outdoors to create beautiful handmade bookmarks.
The activity allowed pupils to express their creativity while making the most of the outdoor learning environment and the resources nature provides.
Teamwork Takes Centre Stage
While the bookmarks were impressive, it was the children's teamwork that stood out most throughout the session.
Pupils worked collaboratively, sharing ideas, helping one another and encouraging their friends as they completed their creations. Their positive attitudes and willingness to support each other created a wonderful atmosphere of cooperation and friendship.
Learning Together Outdoors
The Forest School experience gave children the opportunity to learn from one another, solve problems as a team and build confidence in a supportive setting.
