Carlton Residential Brings Adventure and Teamwork to Life
Pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham have been making the most of their Carlton residential, enjoying a wide range of outdoor activities while building confidence and teamwork skills. Children have taken part in an exciting programme of activities, including gulley walking, shelter building, climbing wall challenges and high ropes.

Year 4 pupils had a fantastic visit to Seven Stories, where they explored storytelling in an exciting and interactive way. Activities included: Hunting for and identifying dragons in legends Acting out scenes from The Lambton Worm Taking part in engaging drama workshops
Year 5 Visit SUEZ Recycling and Recovery Centre
Year 5 pupils from St Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham recently enjoyed an educational visit to the SUEZ Recycling and Recovery Centre. During the visit, pupils took part in a fascinating tour of the facility, where they learned how waste is processed and transformed into renewable energy. The experience gave them a clear insight into the journey of waste after it leaves our homes.

What an amazing day our pupils from St. Joseph’s Catholic Primary School in Billingham had at the Billingham Forum Pantomime! From the moment the show began, the children were completely captivated. There was laughter, singing, dancing, and plenty of silly moments that had us all joining in - exactly what a classic pantomime is all about!
